Monday 02/03/14

It was a sad day for Denver fans. With the final score of 43-8, all the hype is OVER. The newspaper and TV stations are now putting all of the football on the back burner. It is back to REGULAR news. This morning it was sunny and cold. We were going to go to Copper Mtn to ski, but changed our minds and headed over to Breckenridge. The lines were small and the morning weather was good. As the day moved on, it became overcast, windy and cold. We lasted til 1:30pm when it started to snow. After lunch, we headed back to our car with the intent to visit the Snow Sculptures in town. However, Sunday was the last day and when we arrived, a snow plow was knocking them down. However, my friend - Sally- had taken pictures of them so we were able to see what they looked like. At the end of the day, we went down to the Dam Brewery to make ski arrangements for tomorrow.
