We went to Copper Mtn today and cruised groomed trails. The ski bikes were out enjoying the conditions. For the next few days, we will stay on trails that have been groomed. We went off the trail and the snow is 3-4 feet deep. Not much fun. After returning home, we went to the Haywood Bar. We didn't stay long because we quickly saw it was a snow boarders bar. After one drink we went to our old standby - the Dam Brewery where they were taping a raspberry beer.Had one sip and I knew it wasn't for me. Lets hope for more blue skies tomorrow.

Tuesday 02/11/14
The news stories of the day include a SUNNY BLUE SKY and 2 skiers being killed at Keystone. One was killed in a back country avalanche and the other person was killed hitting a tree in the Outback. The snow has caused a lot of warnings and the road to A-Basin was closed because of an avalanche. Warnings are posted to limit any back country skiing.
